Les programmes de formation à l’emploi aident les Albertains adultes à acquérir les compétences requises pour obtenir un emploi, pour obtenir un meilleur emploi ou pour se perfectionner afin de conserver leur emploi. Le ministère de l’Emploi et de l’Immigration offre un soutien du revenu aux étudiants à faibles revenus. Les droits de scolarité, les livres, les fournitures scolaires et une allocation de subsistance pourraient être disponibles si vous y êtes admissible. Le service de demande en français est offert en ligne aux Albertains qui sont apprentis ou clients de l’assurance-emploi.

Youth Restorative Action Project (YRAP)

The Youth Restorative Action Project is a Youth Justice Committee sanctioned under the new Youth Criminal Justice Act. It is the first YJC mandated to work in youth court with young people who have caused harm as a result of hate crimes and significant social issues YRAP is also the first such committee to be comprised entirely of Youth Members, and takes a unique approach to achieving the goals of Restorative Justice. YRAP also collaborates on projects promoting justice equality and rights for all youth, particularly youth at risk and new Canadians.
