Crime Stoppers - Alberta
From one convenient location you can access the websites of all five Alberta associations, and (where available) those of the Association's affiliate boards. Crime Stoppers allows you to give the police tips anonymously and confidentially. If your tip leads to an arrest there is a possibility of monetary reward.

The Elder Abuse Intervention Team is a collaboration of the Edmonton Police Service, The City of Edmonton Community Services, Catholic Social Services and Victorian Order of Nurses. Their mission is to prevent and respond to elder abuse by working in partnership with the community, thereby enhancing the well being of older adults.

Calgary John Howard Society

Women and the Law in Alberta

This website is meant to make a traditionally complex area of knowledge easier to understand and more accessible. Many Albertan women will benefit from this resource, including those who are new to the English language, have no background in the law, those who cannot afford legal advice and those in remote communities without internet access. Although it is not meant to replace expert advice the resource is a starting place and a guide for women who don’t know where to look.

Pro Bono Law Alberta

Pro Bono Law Alberta (PBLA) is a nonprofit organization that promotes access to justice in Alberta by creating and promoting opportunities for lawyers to provide pro bono (free) legal services to persons of limited means. PBLA does not provide direct support to members of the public; their website lists clinics and projects that may be helpful to individuals. Lawyers on PBLA's volunteer roster are available to provide assistance on legal issues that impact non profits and charities such as: policy/governance; employment law and contracts; volunteer waivers;  incorporation; or charitable registration.
